Große Kunst braucht die lockere Hand. War es nicht so? Strœm glauben daran. Und was noch wichtiger ist: they practice what they preach.
The Kecks
Dubbed "The Strokes Of Hamburg" by Consequence Of Sound, The Kecks emerge from a lockdown slumber with infectiously catchy new single "Tonight Might Be Different" released via Blaggers Records in August 21.
This the first post lockdown show is very much on home turf for the cross continental rockers at their beloved Molotow, and marks a new dawn for the band having spent the unexpected worldwide hiatus locked away lovingly crafting new sounds. Exciting times are on the horizon, with a session at the illustrious Clouds Hill Studios with Gordon Raphael, the producer behind the first two The Strokes albums in the diary for late summer....
Deep Dyed
Deep Dyed makes music that fuses modern psych-pop and 80s indie rock. The group was founded in Hamburg in 2019 by the four friends Hauke Seibt (bass), Lukas Tietkens (drums), Aylin Sengül (vocals, guitar, synth) and John Hintz (guitar, vocals). Mainly driven by lo-fi guitar riffs and psychedelic sounds, they process the feeling of emotional isolation (Trapped inside a Maze) and tentative steps of overcoming it (Blue Levitate Hours) in their first released singles.
